Leslie Helms
1964-2016

Raytown, MO……Leslie Allen Helms II, age 51, was born February 13, 1964 in Cameron, MO the son of Leslie Allen and Etta Ruth (Rohrs) Helms and passed away January 20, 2016 at his home in Raytown.

After graduating High School Leslie served our country in the United States Air Force for one tour. On February 8, 1997 Leslie and Janet Marie Nichols were united in marriage in Kansas City, MO. To this union two daughters were born. Leslie was a very gentle man and was a loving son, brother, husband, and father.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Allen Helms and Etta Ruth Helms-Cole; and one step brother.

Survivors include wife Janet of the home; two daughters, Ivana & Cynthia of the home; two sisters, Arlinda Jolley (Wayne) Independence, MO and Dorothy Steiner (Randy) Amity; five step sisters and 1 step brother.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Alta Vista Cemetery in Weatherby, Missouri. No visitation scheduled. Service under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions: Love offering to the family.
