Vivian Swope
1930—2016

Mission, Kansas……Vivian Swope, 85, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House.

Vivian will be laid to rest next to her husband Edwin, in Fairport Cemetery, Fairport, MO.  Vivian was born October 3, 1930 to the late Charlie and Velma Perry in Fairport, MO and is survived by her sister Sue Steiner.  After moving to Kansas City, Vivian began dating her husband Edwin, and they were married in 1953.  She was known as “Pib” to her family, and is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Vivian was a longtime member of Village Presbyterian Church and volunteered extensively with the Salvation Army and American Cancer Society.  She retired as a Legal Secretary from Business Men’s Assurance in 1989.
