Anna Maureen Gibson, affectionately known to all as GG, age 82, passed away Friday March 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. GG was born March 6, 1935, to Florence, and William Albers in Atchison Kansas. She attended Trinity Lutheran School, and later graduated from Mt. Saint Scholastica in Atchison, Kansas.
GG worked numerous waitressing jobs as well as an operator for South Western Bell but truly loved traveling the world and the only country she never got to see was the Netherlands.
In 1975 she married Billie S. Gibson “Howdy Howdy”, and they traveled the world together. Howdy Howdy proceeds her in death as well as her only son, Rickey Dean Hunsakaer. GG is survived by a sister Judyth Kaye Cole of Maysville, her one and only daughter, Sherry (Ron) Wade of Maysville.
Additional survivors include her pride and joy, her grandchildren: Myke Wade of Plattsburg, Kristy Wade (Tabby Burnett) of St. Louis, Gail (Joshua) Thornton and Billy Wade of Maysville.
GG’s world revolved around having her great-grandchildren around and they all survive her: Mary-Anna Wade (Joshua Arnold), Dylan Wade, Dalton Wade, JaKob Wade, Tomas Wade-Violet, Emmett Wade, Kadence Costner, Kloie Wade, Leyton Coster, and Daniel Wade; and her one and only great-great-grandchild, Joshua Allen Arnold, Jr.
Cremation under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville. Celebration of Life Visitation will be 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.
