Norma Hunt
1927-2017

Maysville, MO….Norma B. Hunt, 89, formerly of Lake View, Iowa, was born June 22, 1927 in Lake View, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Marie (Schwanz) Hedberg, and passed away March 20, 2017 in King City, Missouri.

On April 17, 1951, Norma and Wayne Hunt were united in marriage. To this union two children were born. Norma and Wayne lived the majority of their lives together in Alaska, where she was an avid fisherman. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and United Church of Christ in Lake View, Iowa. Norma loved to travel, read, and play penny slots at a casino. She was a wonderful cook and crafter. Most of all she enjoyed and loved her family.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and eleven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two children, Pam (Day) Miller, Maysville, MO and Jeff (Bev) Hunt, Lake View, Iowa; six granddaughters, Natalie Wessman, Lisa (Troy) Schroeder, Hillary (Aaron) Marshall, Veronica (Derek) Bird, Margaret Miller, and Allison (C.J.) Zeller; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at United Church of Christ, Lake View, Iowa under the direction of Farber and Otterman Funeral Home, Lake View, Iowa.
