Carolyn Maxine Eggleston
1937-2017
Maysville, Missouri….Carolyn ”Carol” Maxine Eggleston, age 80, was born September 12, 1937 in Maysville, to Eldon Casey and Laura Mae (Stanton) Edwards and passed away the morning of September 23, 2017 at Quail Run Nursing Home in Cameron surrounded by her family.

Carol graduated from Maysville High School in 1955, and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. After high school, Carol moved to Kansas City and worked at Commerce Bank. Carol moved back to Maysville and married Paul Eggleston on June 9th, 1973. During her long career in finance she worked for the Clarksdale Bank, Maysville MFA, and retired from Cameron Mutual Insurance.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son Curtis Eggleston; brother, George William; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois & Kenneth Owen, and Marge & Bill Buchanan; nephew, John Paul and niece Diane.

Carol is survived by husband Paul of the home; sons, Ray (Tammy) Cosby, MO, Tim (Cindy), Maysville and Randy (Kari), Brookville, OH; sister, Betty (Clayton) Huber; brothers, Robert (Reita) Edwards, John Edwards, and Harvey (Janice) Edwards; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
