Maysville, Missouri…..Larry Croval Knorr, age 79, was born May 31, 1938 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Simon Croval and Irene Edna (Dice) Knorr and passed away October 1, 2017.
Larry as a child attended Ellsworth County School, Fairport Grade School and later graduated from Maysville High School Class of 1956.

Larry and Beverly Bram were united in marriage on February 2, 1958 in Maysville, Missouri. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as Master Sergeant. After retirement from Air Force, Larry operated Bram Monument Company for 35 years. He was a member of Grand River Muzzleloader Association and a member of Maysville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, aviation and held a private pilots license. He was a quiet man with a large heart who always put others before himself.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert “Bob” Knorr; and infant sister Carolyn Irene Knorr.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Beverly; son, John (Christy) Knorr, Spring Hill, TN.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Maysville. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial Contributions: Alzheimers Association. Online condolences: www.turnerfamilyfuneral.com

    I knew Larry from purchasing two stones from him. We had a long conversation. My 16 year daughter had just died. He installed the tombstone and did pilings and rebar. I’m pretty sure he went above and beyond for such a small stone.

    My thoughts and prayers are with Beverly and family. Larry was one friendly fella and will be greatly missed
