Maysville, MO…….Herman M. Thomas, Jr., age 71, was born July 21, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Herman Monroe, Sr. and Cora Virginia (Hendrickson) Thomas and passed away January 21, 2018 in Maysville, Missouri.

Junior graduated from Climax Springs, Missouri High School and later lived and worked in Kansas City until moving to Maysville in October 2017. He worked for several years at General Motor Company and later did home renovations/remodeling and had a small engine repair shop.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons, Edward and David Thomas of Kansas City, Kansas; three sisters, Virginia Johnson, Maysville, MO, Mildred Kellner (Charlie), Warsaw, MO, and Jeanie Duy (Harvey), Deepwater, MO; brother, William Thomas, Maysville, MO; Mother of his children, Raquel Thomas; grand-daughter, Ashley Nicole Thomas, Lawrence, KS; and grandson, Patrick Shane Thomas, Saudi Arabia (United States Army).
