Stewartsville, MO…..CORY LEE FARR was born January 8, 1997 in Kannapolis, North Carolina to Adriane and Elbert Farr. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 8, 2018, in Stewartsville, Missouri at the age of 21.
At the age of 2, Cory was diagnosed with brain cancer. He was a patient of St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for more than 19 years. He was a strong spirit who defied every limit this world ever set in his path. He had a big heart for others. Loved his summers at Camp Quality Northwest Missouri, fishing, swimming and hanging out with friends. He loved the franchise “Fast and Furious”. The more horsepower the better, he loved dirtbikes, going to the races and tractors. He touched so many lives, and was an inspiration to many. He was a Christian, he believed in the Lord, and knows that the Lord had a plan for him.
He is survived by his parents, Adriane and Elbert Farr of Stewartsville, Mo, sister Stephanie Farr of Stewartsville, Mo and brother Derek Farr of Stewartsville, Mo. Grandfather Ronald Farr of Stewartsville, Mo. Grandmother Judy and Steve Sandridge of Cameron, Mo. numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of Stewartsville, Mo. Grandmother Diana Stark of Evansville, IN. Grandfather Floyd Asbill of Stilwell, Ok. Grandfather Charles and Ruby Stark of Nowata,OK. numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Nephew Zyler Mendez.
Cory is a son, brother, uncle, child of God. Until we meet again…
Celebration of life will be held at Stewartsville High School in Stewartsville, Mo. on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Visitation begins at 09:00 am until 11:00 am, Service begins at 11:00am until 12:00.

Even as that cute tan 2 year old used to run around like Stephanie & Derek, he show warrior spirit & strength beyond his years then! May the Lord be near to you all in this journey until we all see Heaven & those we LOVE on that glorious day!
