Darin E. Colhour
1967-2018
St. Joseph, Missouri…….Darin E. Colhour, age 50, was born November 7, 1967 in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Carl Edwin and Diana Lynn (Cooper) Colhour and passed away August 26, 2018.
Darin was a Graduate of Stewartsville High School Class of 1986. After High School Darin enlisted in The United States Marine Corp. serving our country for eight years during Desert Storm. He later worked at Harley Davidson in Kansas City for 18 years.
Darin had a big heart and was willing to lend a helping hand. He loved football-especially Northwest Bearcat Football and the Kansas City Chiefs. Darin enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and spending time with his family. He was a member of American Legion Post 508 and Patriot Riders.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Diana Colhour. Survivors include his daughter, Alex Colhour; two sons, Josh (Jessika) Colhour and Timothy Colhour; companion, Cathy; two brothers, Chris Colhour and Brad (Missy) Colhour; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Dmitrius Colhour; nephew Brock Colhour; and mother of his children, Bobbi Colhour.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Stewartsville Cemetery with full military honors. Darin was a good hearted man. He loves his family more than anything. He was a friend to everyone. I enjoyed working with him and loved to see him with Josh and Alex as they grew up. We had many good times together. You will be sadly missed in this world. We hate to say good bye so abruptly, Brother Darin. We wont forget you. We love you.
