1921-2018

Maysville, MO….. Gayle Wiglesworth, 97, formerly of Clarksdale, was born November 4, 1921 the daughter of James and Nancy (Runyan) Richardson in Rural Harrison County and passed away January 6, 2019 at Sunset Home in Maysville, Missouri.

She married Garland (Donnie) Gillespie in 1941 and to this union two children were born. Donnie passed away March 18, 1955.

Gayle married Dale Wiglesworth in 1966.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie; parents; six brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include: her daughters, Wanda Crouse (Don), St. Joseph and Connie Berten (Bob), Clarksdale; four grandchildren, Diana Johnson, Mark Crouse, Wayne Berten, and Scott Berten; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m Friday, January 11, 2019 at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway, Missouri. Visitation: 11:00 to 1:00 p.m Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences: www.turnerfamilyfuneral.com

    The best aunt any kid could have growing up, she always treated our children like they were her own grand children during our time with her. I will cherish every word we spoke with each other during phone conversations or vacation times she opened her home to our family. God bless this wonderful woman, thank you for loving me and my family .
