1937-2019
Maysville, MO…..Robert Larry Engnell, age 82, was born March 4, 1937 in Boone, Iowa the son of Clarence and Helen (Johnson) Engnell and passed away March 5, 2019 in Maysville.
Bob served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1963. On May 31, 1957 Bob and Jo Ellen Sparks were united in marriage at the First Methodist Church in Boone, Iowa. To this union two sons were born. Bob graduated from Boone High School in 1955 and completed Bachelor Degree from Missouri Western in 1990.
Bob was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and taking care of his farm north of Fairport. He completed his license to Preach Program and served as minister to Weatherby & Bethel United Methodist Churches for six years.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Jo Ellen of 61 years; two sons, Brent Robert (Laura), Agency, MO and Brad Jeffrey (Holly), Valdosta, Georgia; five grand-children, Amy Engnell-Bellflowers, Matthew Engnell, Khristopher Engnell, Michael McQuarrie and Beth Larabee; five great- grandchildren and one brother, Donald Engnell, Boone, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with burial in Amity Cemetery. Visitation: one hour prior to funeral time. Memorial Contributions: Amity United Methodist Church, Sunset Home, Comfort Care Hospice, or Charity of Donor’s Choice.
I’m sorry for your loss. I remembered him and the family went to school with the boys Prayers to the Family.
