Candy Rene Jones ~ in our care ~ November 9, 2019

Candy R. Jones, 45, of Union Star, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in St. Joseph, Mo.

Funeral service will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, Mo. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2 p.m.

Christian Burial will follow at the Old Maysville Cemetery, east of the football field.

Visitation will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, Mo. on Friday, November 15, 2019, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

Candy was born in No. Kansas City, Mo., to Doran and Tina Jones on November 19, 1973.

She went to high school at Union Star R. 2, and graduated in 1992. She went on to college and earned her medical assistant certification.

Candy served in the United States Army for 6 years, and was awarded several Medals, Badges, & Citations for her honorable service.

She worked at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

Candy loved camping, spending time with friends and her family, gardening, lighthouses, and especially her dog Harley.

She always thought of others first before herself and was an unselfish person.

Candy is survived by her significant other, James Heine, son; Ignacio Medelez, stepdaughters; Alysse and Jaime Heine, sisters; Tammy (Pete) Wake, Beverly (Mark) Shaul, Charlene ( Ryan) Harris, brothers; Doran (Starla) Jones, James Jones, and many other family members as well as a multitude of friends.

Memorials may be made in her honor to : The American Cancer Society in c/o the Funeral Home.
