In Our Care ~ Larry “Dean” Shepherd ~ March 12, 2022

Maysville, Missouri

Larry “Dean” Shepherd, 55, of Maysville, Missouri, left this Earth to go to his eternal home on Saturday, March 12, 2022, with his loving family at his side. 

Dean was born in Cameron, Missouri, to Larry Clyde Shepherd and Martha (Hahn) Shepherd on August 23, 1966.

Dean married the love of his life, Angie Siebert, on February 1, 1986, at the First Baptist Church in Maysville and to this union two daughters were born. 

Dean worked for many years at Smithfield Farms (Premium Standard Farms) as he always enjoyed working in the agricultural industry. He previously worked for Martin Plumbing and Herzog, where he and Angie got to travel and see many places during that time.

He loved to be outside, whether it be coyote hunting, deer hunting, bird hunting, fishing, snagging, or camping. He adored his bird dog, Bella. 

Dean cherished his time with friends, family, and especially grandchildren. He spent many hours with his girls out in the yard playing softball. He enjoyed attending all their activities and watching their sporting events.  He liked to play corn hole and  cards and enjoyed smoking meat for friends and family. 

He is proceeded in death by his father, Larry Clyde Shepherd.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Angie, of the home; daughters, Stephani (Ray) Wallace of Maysville and Toni (Derik) Buckles of 

Weatherby; 4 grandchildren, Hunter Buckles, Kree Buckles, Camden Wallace and Chloe Wallace; mother, Martha (Larry) Baker of Cameron; brother, Shane (Heather) Shepherd of Cameron; and numerous other friends and family. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Turner Family Funeral Home with cremation following. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Osborn Evergreen Cemetery in Osborn, Missouri.

Following the graveside services, everyone is welcome to join us for a dinner at Hopewell Church, 2550 NE Gospel Road, Weatherby, MO. 64497.

    I love all you girls!!! Really I do, we will continue to pray for you and his grandchildren. Thanks for always looking out for me and treating me like a daughter. He will NEVER be forgotten!
