Calvin Lee Gunn, 30 of Weatherby, MO passed away after a logging accident on May 23rd, 2022. He was surrounded by loved ones at his death.
Calvin was born on August 13, 1991 in St. Joseph, MO to Kent and Tracy Gunn. Calvin graduated from Maysville high school in 2010. He enjoyed hunting , fishing, being at the lake, and spending time with family. Calvin loved having a good time and shared his opinion often with many! Calvin was always a hard worker and has been there for many people in times of need!
Calvin is survived by his parents Kent and Tracy Gunn, sister Lauren Gunn, girlfriend Amanda Dawson, her children Remi and Rhett Hays, Grandparents Gordon and Linda Plowman, Walter Gunn and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He is preceded in death by his Grandma Ruby Gunn and two uncles Steven Plowman and Johnny Moore.
Visitation will be Friday May 27th, 2022 from 6-8 pm and Funeral will be Saturday May 28th, 2022 at 10:00 am at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, MO. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Calvin’s honor to the Fairport Lions Club.

My heart hurts for Kent and Tracy and Lauren. I always enjoyed reading Calvin’s posts on facebook. He and I agreed on a lot of things. I met him when he was just a little guy. We were at my brother’s house for a family reunion. I am very sorry that he won’t be at the next one. I really wanted to give him a hug and talk to him in person. I will miss you Calvin…I know you are with your Grandma Ruby, Johnny Moore and Eric Gunn and Chris Gunn. God bless you all and may you all rest in peace.
