Ersie Alice Watkins
1934-2016

Stewartsville…….Ersie Alice Watkins, age 81, was born July 8, 1934 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of Clarence Oliver and Lora May (Dell) Daulton and passed away unexpectedly January 5, 2016 in St. Joseph.

Ersie loved flowers, gardening, animals, birds, and a “good” garage sale. She and her first husband Thomas T. Williams Sr. were in the restaurant business and ran the restaurant in Old Pattonsburg for many years. Later she worked at Starlite restaurant as a waitress.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Thomas T. Williams Sr.; Second husband, Charles Edwin Watkins; and three brothers, Floyd, Brent, & James Daulton and two sisters, Emma Lou Dancy, and Leala Thomas

Survivors include her son, Thomas T. Williams, Jr. and fiancé Judy Liggett, Plattsburg; daughter, Penny Poe, Texas; one sister, Midge VanSickle, Hotsprings, AR; and two grandchildren Lonnie & Morgan Campbell.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Starfield, Missouri. No visitation scheduled. Friends may call on Bram-Turner Funeral Home of Stewartsville from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday. Online condolences: www.bram-turnerfuneralhome.com
