Dolores Jean Pritchard
1931-2016

Maysville….Dolores Jean Pritchard, age 84, was born December 18, 1931 the daughter of Byron Francis and Roberta Frances (Allen) Harwood in Amity, Missouri and passed away February 10, 2016 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Jean was a Class of 1948 Maysville High School graduate.  On July 16, 1950, Jean married the love of her life Lee Wayne Pritchard.  To this union three daughters were born.  She was a cook for Maysville R1 School for over 20 years and a member of Fairport Baptist Church.  Jean was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and giving away her work to her friends and family and tending to her yard & her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Wayne Pritchard; grand-daughter, Karla Smith; and great-granddaughter, Jaylee Ann Piatt.

Survivors include three daughters, Alda Owen (Rick), Fairport, Sheri Catlett (Randy), Maysville, Sheila (Dennis) Smith, Maysville; sister, Idella Barton (Bob), Maysville; brother, J.B. Harwood (Katherine), Maysville; six grandchildren, Jake Owen (Christina), Kate (Nathan) Nolland, Chad (Lisa) Catlett, Carrie Harms (Wade), Josh Smith (Rachelle), and Jenny Piatt (Kevin); fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with visitation one hour prior to service time.  Cremation following service with inurnment at Fairport Cemetery at a later date.   Memorial contributions:  PHARM or Maysville R1 Memorial Scholarship.  Online condolences:  www.turnerfamilyfuneral.com
