Maysville……Ronald Eugene Thompson, Jr., age 48, the son of Ronald Eugene and Caroline Jo (Sweiger) Thompson was born September 13, 1967 in Independence, MO and passed away April 7, 2016.
Ronald worked for Missouri Department of Conservation for many years. He enjoyed his family, cutting up and laughing with them. He loved to hunt, fish, working on the family farm and golfing.
He is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his father, Ronald E. Thompson, Osborn; two sisters, Ronda Owen, Monroe City, MO and Anita Dunlap, Stewartsville; niece, Destiny Owen, Maysville and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

A friend from home (Clarksdale) informed me of Ronnie’s passing. Very saddened to hear. He and I graduated together in the Class of ’85. I haven’t seen him since high school but will always remember his deep hearty laugh and huge smile. He was too young to go this soon. May every day hereafter be full of peace Ronnie.
