George William Campbell

Maysville…..George William Campbell, age 76, was born October 3, 1940 in King City, MO, the son of Virgil and City May Kemery, and passed away July 24, 2017 in Cameron, MO.

George and Norma May (Zans) were united in marriage May 23, 1965 in Stewartsville, MO. To this union five children were born. George was employed as a mechanic all his life and worked for JB Harwood for 14 years and retired from Taylor Chevrolet after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood, and farming. George loved his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa; brothers, Grover and Harold Campbell; sisters, Pauline Bray and Sarah Bridges; nephew, Dennis Bray.

Survivors include is wife, Norma of the home; four children, Jeffery (Toni) Campbell, Excelsior Springs, MO, Annette (Milo) Comstock, Lovilia, Iowa, Jennifer (Pat) Smith, Maysville, and Brian (Pam) Campbell, Maysville, MO; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nephew, Richard Bray; and nieces, Margaret Schemmer, and Jeanne Hurst.

Cremation under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with a memorial service at a late date.
