Helen “Pauline” Herring
Union Star, MO….Helen “Pauline” Herring, age 87, was born December 14, 1929 in Flag Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Lee and Ada (Bonham) Jones and passed away July 29, 2017 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
“Pauline” and Homer Herring were united in marriage on November 18, 1956 in Union Star Christian Church. She was a cook at Union Star School and a homemaker. She loved to travel, fish, camp, paint, crafting, dance, and Country & Blue Grass shows. Pauline was a member of Clarksdale Christian Church.
“Pauline” is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Woodson Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Homer of the home; nephew, Roger Jones, Raymore, MO; niece, Rhonda Dahlin, Belton, MO; aunt, Elizabeth Jones, King City, MO; and great niece and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Clarksdale Christian Church with burial following in King City Cemetery. Visitation: one hour prior to service at the church. We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to Homer on my cousin Pauline’s passing. She was a joy to know and be around. And how she loved that country and western dancing, often traveling miles and miles with Homer to make an event. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
