Shane and I were shipmates on the USS Iwo Jima. We worked in the public affairs office together. I just searched Google to see if I could find him. Sobsad to see the obituary. Shane was one of the few people who kept me smiling no matter how bad things seemed to get while deployed. I truly miss his humor and friendship.
