Stewartsville, Missouri…….Ivan L. Gann, age 77, passed away on March 3, 2018, in Cameron Mo.
Funeral Service will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 7, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Garlock officiating.
Christian burial will follow at Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery in Weatherby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Memorial donations may be made to The Missouri Veterans Home, in care of the funeral home.
Ivan was born in Easton, Mo. to William and Edna (Wheeler) Gann on November 2, 1940. He went to high school in Easton, and graduated in 1958. He worked for many years as a farmer and iron worker. Ivan was an avid hunter/fisherman and loved working on tractors and lawnmowers. He was involved in many tractor cruises and runs.
Ivan is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Karon of the home, children: Stella (Rick) Embrey, of St. Joseph, Ivan (Laura) Gann, of Stewartsville, Jamie Gann, of Fulton, Stepsons: Todd (Laurie) Connell, of Easton, and Brad (Shauna Connell, of Gower. Siblings: Betty J. Salsbury, Lewis Gann, Bonnie J. Miller, Lucile Spanhower, Carol R. Swartz, Ilene Redman, Katherine L. Mink, Bobby E. Gann, Billy R. Gann, Norman Gann, and Dennis Gann; 5 Grandchildren and 9 Step grandchildren, many other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nancy Viola, and brother, John Gann.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville.
Stella I’m so sorry to see this about your dad. He was a good man. I pray u have peace and comfort during this sad time.
Karon, my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you throughout this difficult time. You two peas in a pod will see each other again some glorious day. So thankful for our visit last year as the memory I’ll always smile upon. I love you friend, may peace and comfort be showered upon you as Ivan rest in peace forever more.
