Bruce Brockman
1951-2018
Stewartsville, MO…….Bruce Dee Brockman, age 66, was born September 16, 1951 in Cameron, the son of Charles and Dorthy (Yahnig) Brockman and passed away April 1, 2018 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Stewartsville, MO.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Brockman .
Survivors include his mother, Dorthy Brockman; older brother, Keith Brockman (Barb); twin sister, Brenda Keesaman (Ken); three children, Jeff Brockman (Penny), Jen Brockman (Dennis), and James O’Rouke (Cindy); six grandchildren, and many beloved family members.
Bruce invested his whole life in Stewartsville and cared deeply for the community. He touched countless lives through his work as a Vo-Tech teacher, trusted auto mechanic, owner of the Cardinal Drive-In, Festival Burger Cook, and Rural-Route Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville with burial following in Stewartsville Cemetery. Brenda we are so sad to hear about the loss of your brother. What a terrible shock. You are heavy in our prayers!!
Bruce helped take care and guide me and my friend Garrett Shoemaker without him I don’t believe we would be the men we are today. He taught me hard work talks for itself. Gave me tips how to do better at everything. He was and amazing man and I am proud to say he helped guide me.
He will be missed dearly by me
