Thomas C. McCrary
1948-2018

Union Star, Missouri…….Thomas C. McCrary, 69, passed away July 30, 2018 at his home. Keeping with Tom’s wishes there is no funeral or visitation scheduled. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.

Tom was born in St. Joseph, Missouri the son of Clifford C. and Betty Jean (Sherman) McCrary on November 12, 1948. He worked most of his career as a sheetmetal worker and in the heating and cooling industry. Tom enjoyed his garden as well as hunting, fishing, camping & boating.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy of the home; two daughters, Stacy (Eric) Johnson, Kansas City and Tammy McCrary, St. Joseph; two sisters, Linda McCrary of Kansas City and Sharon Delaney of Jefferson City; four grandchildren; Myeshia, Ronzell, Alyssa, and Erica; one great grandson, Dodger; many other relatives and a multitude of friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; and his cherished son, Andrew. He loved taking care of his dog “Boots”. Tom could be ornery, but was a good husband, father, and grandfather.
