1952-2018
Maysville, Missouri……Karla Jean James, age 66, was born July 29, 1952, the daughter of Lloyd Gilbert and Vola Marie (Maddock) Castle and passed away December 17, 2018.
Karla was a very loving person with a large heart and enjoyed helping people. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and a good cheeseburger. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and sister Lola Roberta Castle.
Survivors include her mother, Vola Castle; three children, Kelly Flanders, Shanon James, and David James; sister, Marie (John) Temple; six grandchildren, Kelsey, Payton, Jacob, Jordan, Madison, & Athelia; and two great-grandchildren, Tanner and Jillian.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville with inurnment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Maysville, MO. Visitation: 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences: www.turnerfamilyfuneral.com

I enjoyed working for Karla. She was such a special person and a good friend.
So sorry for your loss! I remember when I first moved out here how she welcomed us to this small town.. spending days in the pool and hot tub. I’m sorry I knew nothing about her being so sick until it was too late.. No more pain..
