Paul Eugene Roach, 79, passed away peacefully in his home on January 20, 2022.
Paul was born May 21, 1942 to Joseph Byron and Ethel B. Roach of Amity, Missouri.
He was a graduate of Maysville High School. After high school Paul joined the U.S. Army where he served 6 years.
He later married Helen Darlyne Sheridan in Oklahoma April 18, 1968. They settled on the Roach family farm in Amity, MO. They raised cattle and hogs and Paul also worked at the St. Joseph Stockyards in maintenance. He and his dad “JB” hauled a lot of livestock throughout the years for area farmers and as order buyers. He later retired from trucking and worked part time running the maintainer for the Washington Township until his mid 70’s.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Darlyne, sister Delores Roach Hardin, daughter Linda May Sheridan Adcock, son James L. Sheridan, and companion Barbara (Bobbie) Cline.
He is survived by his brother Harold Wayne Roach, daughter Kimberly Ann Roach Majeski (Steve), son Paul K. Sheridan (Kim), Shirley Richardson, Rita Butler, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at St. Joseph Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call on Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville from 12:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022. Services under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.

I’m so sorry to hear of Paul‘s passing. I’ve been friends of the cline family for over 40 years and met Paul through Bobby. He was always kind and considerate to me when I would visit and he treated Bobby with such respect and kindness, he was a gentle soul. I am so sorry for your loss.
