Jeanette Delores (Jackson) Smith, 84, of Bethany, Mo., passed away on April 13, 2022 in North Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral Service will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home in Stewartsville, Mo., on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., with Reverend Doctor Keith Schweitzer officiating.
Christian Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Osborn, Mo.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Turner Family Funeral Home of Stewartsville, Mo.
Jeanette was born on the family farm in rural Pocahontas County, Iowa to Homer Alfred and LuVerne (Flink) Jackson on April 10, 1938.
She went to High School in Idaho Springs, Colorado, and graduated in 1956.
Jeanette and Robert Smith were united in marriage on December 23, 1955.
She went on to pursue a career in healthcare, serving as a CMT.
Jeanette was an avid reader, enjoyed music, and loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Robert Smith, David (Leslie) Smith, William (Claire) Smith, Laurie (Tim) Hawkins, grandchildren, Austin, Nelson, Sarah, Lance , L.J., one great grandchild, many other relatives, and a host of friends.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Robert Dale Smith.
