Paul Everett Gardner ~ In Our Care ~ April 29, 2022

Clarksdale, Missouri…

Paul E. Gardner, 86, died Friday April 29, 2022, at a St. Joseph care facility.

Paul was born March 22, 1936, to Alfred & Mildred (Hutton) Gardner in Andover MO. He graduated from North Harrison High School in Eagleville, MO.
Paul served in the Army National Guard. He worked in many occupations from Lamoni, IA to St. Joseph that included selling men’s clothing, division manager for Sears, Swifts, and eventually retired from Silgan Containers after 28 years.  He was a past member of the Clarksdale Lions Club.  He was a member of the Blythedale Methodist Church and attended the Clarksdale Christian Church for over 50 years.
Paul loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He always had a large garden that he enjoyed tending.  Paul was extremely proud of his 1929 Ford Model A that he completely restored.
On April 11, 1969, he married Beverly Studer she survives of the home.  Additional survivors include son, Dr. Jeffry (Darchelle) Gardner; daughter Juli (Bobby) Nelson; sister Ina Dunbar.  Grandchildren Alex and Katie Gardner and Jack and Cole Nelson.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lois Jean Snethen and brother Max Gardner.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Clarksdale Christian Church. Private burial at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Blythedale, MO. Funeral services under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home of Maysville.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
