1953 ~ 2024

Cameron, Missouri…Roger Clark Adams, age 71, passed away on May 26, 2024. He was born March 19, 1953, the son of Walter Fay and Mary Mardell (Obermier) Adams.

Roger spent most of his life dedicated to his trade in construction. He moved up the ladder becoming a project manager and superintendent of several construction companies including: Brooner Construction,  Lawhon Construction, and William C. Grace Construction.

Roger loved his kids, grandchildren, Nascar, Chiefs football, and spending time with friends and neighbors.  He enjoyed hunting with his son and grandkids. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 110, Maysville United Methodist Church, and Cameron United Methodist Church. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Adams; and nephew, Michael Lord.

He is survived by his children, Joe (Lacey) Adams, Becky (Stephen) Chambers; brother, Mark (Lisa) Adams; sister, Sharon (Tom) Hesselmann; sister-in-law, Sharon Adams; and five grandchildren, Cooper, Cash, Maggie, Josilyn and Lake. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 ~ 6:30 pm. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Maysville United Methodist Church.

    Sorry to hear about Roger’s passing….. my deepest sympathy to all of the Adams family…
    I met Roger when he was in second grade… we grew up together…. I’ve been remembering going to Fay and Mardell’s fishing in the pond and going across the road to explore the pasture and creek and throw rocks… going on a double date where Roger drove his 63 Chevy from Clarksdale to Fairport to St. Joe and then back again…..Going for a ride after football practice in a 55 Chevy rocket ship driven by Larry McFee… riding on the back of his Honda motorcycle going too fast …. so many good times…. He will be missed ……
